What is this?
Workshops and courses are part of the Befriend Co-Learning Network, creating opportunities to explore community-building approaches, grow relational skills, and practise building connection together.
Across the year, we offer a mix of short workshops and multi-session courses for people who are curious about community and connection. Each session creates a rich mutual learning environment, learning with our experienced facilitators as well as fellow travellers, and each listing shares more detail to help you sense whether an offering feels right for you.

Join us this January for a fun and free online workshop where together we’ll… 🌟 Set some intentions for a more connected 2026 🌟 Explore simple, welcoming ways to bring people together (tried and tested by us over the years!) 🌟Get inspiration for gatherings you could start in your neighbourhood, at your own pace and in your own way 🌟 And, if you’re interested, learn more about hosting your gathering with Befriend and our Social Network community! You are welcome to keep your cameras turned off if you feel more comfortable. Start the year by growing something meaningful – for yourself and your community! (And just remember, all friends start off as strangers, so if you’re feeling a bit nervous about putting yourself out there, just remind yourself of that… it may help!)
