New Befriend Community Manager

Friday, September 30, 2016

Befriend would like to welcome Elizabeth into the role of Community Manager! Elizabeth brings with her a background in management and support work, and a passion for supporting social connection.

Hi everyone! It's only been a few weeks, but with such a welcoming community I'm settling into the role quickly! I'm a support worker by trade and a big talker by nature, and I can't wait to meet more of you at Befriend events. I'll be hosting my own monthly event starting in October, so I can get feedback directly from the Befriend community. I'd love you to come along and tell me what Befriend means to you!

Elizabeth is the one answering your phone calls and emails, so take a peak at the face behind the communications! If you have any questions about Befriend, would like to RSVP for an event, or just say hi, drop her a line on 0404 831 201, or Enable JavaScript to view protected content.

She's a little awkward about having her photo taken... She'll get used to it!

Howdy Partners!

It's time to dust off those cowboy boots, find yourself a nice big hat and head on down to Befriend's best ever...Barn Dance! Line dance your way to Perth City Farm on Saturday 16th of July for Befriend's party of the year- and don't let the name deter you, if dancing's not your type of a howdy doody time, nothing beats a good ol' barn bash!

The Southern Cross Bush Band will be busting out an array of toe-tappin', thigh-slappin,' feel-good country tunes. Jump up for a boot-scoot if you're game, or hang around the Watering Hole and quench your thirst. Better yet, barnyard bites are included in the ticket because no one likes a hangry dance-off!

We are offering an early bird special for the first two weeks, buy before 21st May to get a cheaper ticket! http://www.trybooking.com/180713
